Welding and Sheet Metal Workshop

The Welding and Sheet Metal Workshop provides students with practical training in the use of various cutting and measuring tools, as well as different welding processes, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Oxy-Acetylene Welding, TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and MAG (Metal Active Gas Welding).

Students are expected to acquire practical skills in the following areas:

• Workshop safety procedures

• Arc welding

• Oxy-acetylene welding and cutting

• Identification and operation of sheet metal working tools

• Marking and cutting sheet metal according to engineering drawings

• Filing, bending, and drilling sheet metal
