Thermodynamics Laboratory

The Thermodynamics Laboratory at Qom University of Technology is equipped with a variety of instruments and experimental facilities that enable students to perform experiments designed to enhance their understanding of the fundamental principles of thermodynamics.

The laboratory covers a range of topics, including the vapor-compression refrigeration cycle as a representative refrigeration cycle, the Diesel cycle as a representative internal combustion engine cycle, fluid compressibility, the laws governing ideal gases, the thermodynamic properties of saturated fluids, and air conditioning and psychrometrics.

The primary objective of the laboratory is to reinforce the theoretical concepts presented in the Thermodynamics course through practical experimentation, enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of thermodynamic principles. In addition, the laboratory aims to strengthen students' abilities in experimental theory, oral presentation, data analysis, and technical report writing.
