- Machine Tool and Toolmaking Workshop
The purpose of this workshop is to provide students with a general understanding of various milling, turning, drilling, grinding machines, and more, to familiarize them with the production process of desired parts in industries.
Course Topics:
- Identification of various tools and their applications.
- Familiarity and operation of saw machines, drill machines, drill sharpening, drilling, and tapping.
- Introduction to different types of lathes and learning to operate lathes including drilling, facing, boring, grooving, threading, taper turning, internal turning, etc., along with understanding cutting tools and their geometries.
- Familiarity with milling machines and operating milling machines.
- Awareness of safety instructions in machine tool workshops.
