Student Admission

Acceptance and Attraction of International Students

In line with the implementation of the strategic transformation plan, strengthening and developing scientific diplomacy, and creating opportunities for talented applicants to continue their education from other countries, especially neighboring countries and the Islamic world, Qom University of Technology is taking steps to accept and attract qualified international students at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels in accordance with the regulations for the admission of foreign students to universities and higher education institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Today, attracting non-Iranian students from other countries is considered one of the main criteria for the internationalization of universities. In the current context, the internationalization of the economy, culture, science, and technology, along with the attraction of foreign students, leads to active participation in the global knowledge production process, facilitates technology transfer, and enriches the educational process. Factors such as the emergence of higher education as a business and the key role of foreign graduates in the cultural and social development of their home countries, along with the impact of student mobility on enhancing human capital, have drawn attention to the hidden advantages of attracting foreign students. Additionally, the role of multicultural education in enriching teachings and promoting equality, respect, acceptance, and mutual understanding of cultures has further emphasized the importance of internationalizing higher education.
