Why can't I use the university's wireless internet?

First, you need to ensure that your wireless network card is installed correctly. To do this, the Wireless Network Connection icon should be visible through the following path.

Start Menu- Control Panel- Network and Sharing Center-Change adapter setting - Wireless Network Connection

Next, you should be within the range of one of the wireless antennas and turn on your wireless network card. Now, you should expect to see all available antennas in the taskbar of the desktop by clicking on the wireless icon. Click on the antenna that has the strongest signal and hit connect.

If you are unable to connect to the antenna, right-click on it and select Troubleshooting or Diagnose for automatic troubleshooting.
If you are still unable to connect, right-click on Wireless Network Connection through the following path and follow the steps in the image:

Start Menu- Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center-Change adapter setting - Wireless Network Connection-right click-disable/enable

Again, if you are unable to connect, right-click on Wireless Network Connection using the following path and follow the steps in the image:

Start Menu- Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center-Change adapter setting - Wireless Network Connection

You should now be able to see the university's website in your browser: http://www.qut.ac.ir/

If you are still unable to see it, you need to adjust your browser's Proxy settings as follows:
