Services of the Shahed and Isargar Students Affairs Office (SLA)

1. Service Overview

The Shahed and Isargar Students Affairs Office of the University provides educational, cultural, and welfare services to Shahed and Isargar students with the aim of improving their academic status and supporting student development.

The Office operates under the direct supervision of the University President and is responsible for delivering supportive services to students covered under the relevant regulations for the target group.


2. Target Group (Eligible Beneficiaries)

  • Veterans with 25% disability or higher

  • Former prisoners of war (freed veterans)

  • Spouses and children of martyrs, missing in action, former prisoners of war, and veterans with 25% disability or higher

  • Veterans with at least 15% disability and a minimum of three months of voluntary presence in the warfront

  • Combatants with at least six months of voluntary presence in the warfront


3. Objectives of Services

  • Promoting the culture of martyrdom and self-sacrifice

  • Preserving and honoring the values of veterans and martyrs

  • Providing educational, cultural, and welfare services while maintaining student dignity

  • Enhancing the academic, research, and social development of eligible students

  • Facilitating active participation in university activities


4. Services Provided

4.1 Educational Support Services

  • Submission of educational support requests by students through the Forms section of the University Portal

  • Review of academic records and student status

  • Referral of requests to the University Vice-Chancellorship for Academic Affairs

  • Announcement of results through the Shahed and Isargar Students Affairs Office


4.2 Academic Advisor Program

  • Appointment of an academic advisor from each academic department

  • Submission of student lists along with semester transcripts to faculty advisors

  • Provision of academic and educational counseling sessions by assigned advisors


5. Service Delivery Process

  • Completion of student information form via the University Portal

  • Student referral to the Shahed and Isargar Students Affairs Office

  • Establishment and completion of student file


6. Educational Support Request Procedure

  • Submission of request by the student

  • Completion of the relevant application form

  • Review of academic status

  • Referral to the University Vice-Chancellorship for Academic Affairs

  • Final notification of results


7. Academic Advisor Process

  • Appointment of an academic advisor in each department

  • Submission of student semester transcripts to the advisor

  • Conducting counseling sessions and monitoring academic progress


8. Student Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate and complete information

  • Submitting valid documents and supporting evidence

  • Following up on requests through the University Portal

  • Complying with announced regulations and deadlines
