The Office of Shahid and Isargaran Student Affairs was established in the year 1364 under the title of the University War Headquarters and later known as the War Support Headquarters, Defense Affairs Deputy, Combatant Affairs Headquarters, and now as the Office of Shahid and Isargaran Student Affairs, operating directly under the university president. The students covered by this office include respected Shahid, combatants, veterans, freed prisoners, and the spouses and children of veterans and freed prisoners.

 

Shahid and Isargaran students are the target community subject to the following laws:

  • Veterans with 25% disability or higher
  • Freed prisoners
  • Spouse and child (martyr, missing in action, freed prisoner, and veteran with 25% disability or higher)
  • Veterans with at least 15% disability and three months of voluntary presence at the front
  • Combatants with at least six months of voluntary presence at the front

Objectives

  • Promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom and preserving and protecting the works and messages of martyrs and veterans
  • Providing dignified and respectful services to Shahid and Isargaran students aimed at enhancing their educational, cultural, and welfare status.
  • Facilitating active participation of Shahid and Isargaran students in scientific, cultural, research, investigative, and social fields for their greater growth and advancement.

Process for forming the file of Shahid and Isargaran students

  •  Completing the form related to Shahid and Isargaran students' information on the university portal 
  •  Student’s visit to the Shahid and Isargaran office of the university to form the file

Process for providing educational facilities based on request 

  •  Student’s visit to the Shahid and Isargaran headquarters and submitting a request to use educational facilities
  •   Filling out the application form for educational facilities by the student and submitting it to the university Shahid and Isargaran headquarters
  •  Review of the student's academic information and request
  •  Proposal and referral of the request to the university's educational deputy

Process of academic guidance and counseling

  •  Preparing a list of students’ academic problems based on their transcripts by the Shahid Headquarters counseling expert
  •  Providing consultation and guidance on students’ academic problems by the relevant expert

Advisor professor plan process

  •  Selecting one professor from each academic group for student consultation 
  •  Sending the list of students to professors along with the student's semester transcript 
  •  Receiving academic advice and educational guidance from the student
