Attracting International Students Today
the transfer of knowledge and experience from one generation to another has transcended the borders of countries, and international cultural and scientific communications are considered an objective and inevitable necessity in advancing the goals and macro policies of societies. Qom University of Technology is also trying to promote Islamic and revolutionary values by attracting, accepting, and guiding non-Iranian students in the international arena in order to elevate the name of the "Islamic Republic of Iran". Therefore, it is necessary to organize and facilitate consular affairs of non-Iranian students in a desirable manner. In the context of globalization of economy, culture, and technology, attracting foreign students leads to active participation in the global process of producing science and exchanging educational and research information, and improving the knowledge level of university faculty members at the international level, and enriching the educational process. In higher education systems, engineering education has a special place, because the mission of this education is to train specialized and committed human capital, as well as to produce science and technology that must be solution-oriented and problem-solving. In today's world, which is facing serious crises, the role of engineering education is becoming more important than ever. Because the output of this education must be of such quality and capability that it can provide the knowledge, skills, and technologies needed to deal with these challenges and create the basis for sustainable development of societies. It is obvious that many of these challenges are global and do not have local solutions, so they require people with capabilities and competencies at a global level. Therefore, what was stated about the need for internationalization of higher education becomes doubly important in engineering education
