“A Get-Together with a Taste of Innovation” Event Held at Beta Innovation Center

The event “A Get-Together with a Taste of Innovation” was held on Monday, 7 Mehr 1404, from 12:15 to 13:15 at the Beta Innovation Center. The program was organized with the aim of familiarizing students with the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as introducing the capacities and services of the Growth Center and the Innovation Center of Qom University of Technology.

At the beginning of the program, Dr. Nejad Ebrahim, Director of the Growth Center for Technology Units of Qom University of Technology and of the Beta Innovation Center, was the first speaker. She elaborated on the concepts and definitions of growth and innovation centers and explained the process by which technology teams enter and are established in these centers. Participants then raised their questions and engaged in discussion and exchange of views on the topics presented.

In the second part of the event, Mr. Farshad, Secretary of the Scientific Association of Entrepreneurship of Qom University of Technology, delivered a presentation on the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship and introduced examples of successful companies and their paths to growth.

It is worth noting that these sessions are held on an ongoing basis, approximately once every two weeks. The purpose of holding these events is to provide practical training in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, to make the sessions more specialized according to academic disciplines, to strengthen cooperation with university faculty members, and ultimately to guide ideas toward the production of a product or service and the establishment of knowledge-based businesses.
