Second “A Get-Together with a Taste of Innovation” Event Held at Beta Innovation Center

The second “A Get-Together with a Taste of Innovation” event was held on Monday, 21 Mehr 1404, from 12:15 to 13:15 at the Beta Innovation Center. The session was organized with the aim of explaining the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship and familiarizing participants with the structure and functions of the innovation ecosystem.

In this program, Mr. Farshad, Secretary of the Scientific Association of Entrepreneurship of Qom University of Technology, served as the session’s speaker and elaborated on the concept of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. While introducing the main components of this ecosystem, he explained the role of universities, growth centers, investors, and supporting institutions in its formation and dynamism. The challenges and opportunities along the path of developing the innovation ecosystem at the university level and in Qom Province were also examined.

Later in the session, participants raised their views and questions regarding the obstacles and solutions for strengthening innovative activities, and engaged in an exchange of views on the matter.

It is worth noting that the “A Get-Together with a Taste of Innovation” series of sessions is held regularly and periodically, approximately once every two weeks. The purpose of holding these events is to enhance knowledge and skills in innovation and entrepreneurship, to create interaction among students and faculty members, and to provide a suitable platform for ideation, product development, and the formation of technological and knowledge-based businesses.
