INTRODUCTION
Dr. Ali Shahbazi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Qom University of Technology, received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Conversion from the University of Tehran in 2019. He commenced his professional career in the fall of 2024 as a faculty member and Assistant Professor at Qom University of Technology.
His primary research interests focus on mathematical and thermodynamic modeling of energy systems and the solution of governing equations for mechanical phenomena, with an emphasis on turbomachinery, turbulent flows, and energy storage systems (such as batteries). In his research, he employs advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods, reduced-order modeling, and numerical analyses.
In his future research, he seeks to apply novel numerical and computational methods to solve complex problems in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics, with the aim of developing more accurate and efficient models for energy conversion and storage systems.
